If you like to get something somewhere really fast in Hanoi, forget about Taxis or Vans or a normal car. This is not the way to do it. Its all about motorbikes. There are more than 2 million motorbikes in Hanoi (and much much less cars). They drive like devils. Red light is but a suggestion sign or them, and they respect absolutely no traffic laws. But the amazing truth is that doing all these "crimes", Hanoi has a traffic-jams-free metropoline. With millions of workers and students on the way to and from work and school, everything simply moves fluently. And if you need this parcel getting somewhere fast, a biker will do the job at no time and for no money.
