We arrived to Laos. Beautiful country. Simple people. I am not sure how easy their lives really are but they sure seem happy - very happy - in their lives. It seems we arrived just in ht epeak season for planting the new rice seeds. Field after field you see farmers, usually the whole family together, planting the rice plants for the next year. It takes 4 months until the plants grow big and can be harvested. We will not stay here that long. But after working with some of them just for a brief hour - I will never leave uneaten rice grains in my plate anymore!
