Koh Tao

Koh Tao (Koh = Island in Thai, hence also Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui etc.) - Just as you can expect it to be: Sandy beaches, beautiful turquise waters, coconout trees... The place all those crooks in the movies go after they get the suitcase with the money.

We chose Koh Tao because, compare to Samui and Pangan, it has a more quiet imqge, with less ful-mon and half-moon parties, and also - it has some very good dives. On the first day we arrived, one local dive master told us that the dives here are not too interesting, much les than at Phi Phi. From the prespective we gained on the island (see later blogs), we think he is wrong, or just tired of too many dives at the same island. There are some AMAZING dives to do here and some sharks are waiting for you at each dive on Chompon reef.
